Emy Teruel began her career as a designer and wedding planner in 2002 and since then she has achieved best results in the event industry as the Director of the unique Wedding Planners Agency: Exclusive Weddings. In 2011 Emy joined the Spanish Association of Luxury as the only Wedding Planner gaining membership.

Emy Teruel began her career in 1996 as an event planner for remarkable companies in a very personalized and exclusive way. After studying an MBA at the prestigious international business school ESADE she attended several masters and seminars on event organization, protocol, luxury, marketing, advertising and communication.

She realized the lack of professional advising in the wedding business in Spain so in 2002 she introduced the concept of Wedding Planner & Designer for the first time in the country, basing her philosophy of work on the English and American ones and adapting them to the local market. She was a pioneer in this profession and after years at the forefront of the industry and numerous awards, she made of Exclusive Weddings the first wedding planning agency specialized in the concept of Haute Couture Weddings: weddings being designed as a custom made dress, unique to each bridal couple and performed by the highest quality professionals.
